Question everything. German artist and musician Walter Dahn implores that you do so. Influential in the Neue Wilde movement, co-founder of the significant Mülheimer Freiheit group and a pioneer of “Bad Painting”, Dahn developed a way of painting that questioned the point of the modern art movement. His body of work, in all mediums that he touched, begs the viewer to go against the grain and observe from an outside perspective.
