ZINGARO THE ARTIST/21ST CENTURY
This abstract by Zingaro showcases the ancient art form of vitreous enamel - a process which involves combing glass to metal with an immense amount of heat (upwards to 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit). Traditionally done in fire, this fusing process dates back thousands of years and is rarely seen today (especially through art). Zingaro, a master of multiple fine art mediums, became a prominent master of vitreous enamel as it got passed down to him via early adopters of the medium. Together they've kept the process alive and quite literally immortal - considering that firing the glass to metal uniquely bonds the work making it scratch, chemical, and fire-resistant.
